My Story

Aloha! My name is Nate Burgoyne. I live in Haleiwa on the North Shore of Oahu. I’m a family man, and father of 4 fun kids. As a web designer in Hawaii and sports enthusiast, you’ll find me building websites or out in nature running, stand up paddling, hiking or camping. I’m an average build guy who thrives on challenging myself.

I recently created this website to share my experience with Kyani. I’ve been using them for about 2 years now and I never really shared them with anyone. Then it finally hit me like a ton of bricks on the head, “Nate stop being so freakin’ selfish! The products are doing amazing things for your athletic performance and you’re not sharing it with anyone. Show some gratitude and be proactive about sharing this.” So here I am.

I challenge you to put Kyani up against any health supplement in the world. Don’t take my word for it, try it yourself.

I love running but it wasn't always that way. As a wrestler in high school, I was always butting heads with the track team, and despised it. However, at the end of 2012, I was inspired by a book I read to give it a try. Well, on a whim, I decided on a Friday night to to run a marathon on Monday morning around my town, on my own, without any prior training. I finished the 26.2 miles in the morning and went to the park to play with the family in the afternoon. I had a little ache in one foot for a day or two but that’s it! That blew my mind especially since the longest I’d run in years was about a mile and a half.

Curious about all this, a few weeks after that I decided to run a 50k (32 miles). I ended up running 33 miles. Not knowing what to expect, I started running in the dark early in the morning. When I was done, I had no foot pain, no knee pain, no hip pain. No physical pains you would expect from something like that. In fact, that afternoon I went hiking with the family. And, the next day, no pain. The following day, no pain. That run never resulted in any aches or pains. I believe that the Kyani is a contributor to that.

Since then, I finished the HURT 100, one-hundred mile race that was named one of the 9 toughest races in the world. I finished in 34.5 hours. About two months later, I ran 135+ miles around the perimeter of Oahu without sleep for 43 hours.

It’s like my body had reverted back in time to the days when I was a little kid and would wake up run and play all day without tiring and without painful soreness.

My wife also takes Kyani. She is super health conscious. She won’t even take an asprin if she gets a headache, but she takes Kyani and loves it. She too is extremely active and regularly places in local stand up paddle races. She’s non-stop paddling, chasing after our 4 kids, and running a stand up paddle surf school on the North Shore of Oahu.

My kids take Kyani when they start to get sick. Read my blog post about our latest experience with Kyani and MRSA Staph.
